Hey neighbors!
The Community Auxiliary is holding a FREE Crochet & Knitting Workshop.
Ever wanted to learn how to knit or crochet?
Maybe you’d just like to hang out for a few hours with other yarnies and work on a project you have?
Sara Greer, who used to head up Fiber Fanatics at the Community Center, is holding a FREE crochet & knitting class. Sara’s fiber journey began at age 19, with crochet. She has since learned to knit, dye, process and spin fiber. She has been published multiple times in Spin Off magazine and has also done work for Ply magazine. In 2016 she earned her certificate as a Master of Crochet. She has taught professionally since 2007 at rec centers, private homes, fiber festivals and yarn shops.
This is a class you don’t want to miss!
Class will be held Sunday, August 16th, at 2 PM in the Fire Station’s Community Center Area.
We must adhere to all Covid guidelines, so please bring a mask if you are able to wear one.
